1. I figured this would be a one-off and made a request to the housekeeping dept that we would like our rooms done by the time we got back after the lifts were closed.

2. For us, we like to get back, soak in the tub and then go for some drinks - we don't want to hang around in wet and cold ski clothes waiting for our room to be cleaned.

3. Staff (other than housekeeping - more of this later) were mainly efficient and helpful - although I would say that it felt like it was leaning towards the aloof/professional end that you find in some large corporate hotels rather than the usual informal friendliness that you get in most US ski resorts/hotels.

6. Food is phenomenal and there are wonderful little touches like fresh baked cookies and hot apple cider that appear in the afternoons--the perfect welcome after a hard day of skiing.
