1. Service is generally very good if a bit clinical.

2. Even if that were true, I am not sure that is a good explanation? Equally annoying was to come back to our room at 4:30 pm one afternoon to find that they had only just started cleaning our room.

3. The rooms are a good size and importantly, offer plenty of space to hang your jackets, gloves etc; the bathrooms are nice and modern; and the bedroom is very nicely appointed with a cosy fireplace.

4. The service is about as good as any hotel we've ever stayed at - somehow the staff manages to figure out exactly how to be responsive and professional, yet without being overly formal or cold.
