8. Instead of broad pedestrian spaces with plenty of maneuvering options, you are sharing a narrow sidewalk and it is much harder to give the homeless a wide berth.

9. Yes there are plenty of homeless, but this hotel is stylish (though with tiny rooms) in a perfect location for Moscone and Union Square.
