1. free wifi and free parking are worth their weight in gold as the parc 55 (four star) hotel just around the corner wanted $15 per day for wifi and $28 dollars a day parking .

2. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and amenities found in more expensive hotels; free wireless, flat screen tv's, a small gym and morning coffee in the lobby (in addition to the standard in room setup) made the stay a success.
