2. They did get me 2 new bars of soap on the 3rd day after I asked the front desk if we could have more because the one bar for 4 people to shower, wash faces and hands was getting a little small.

3. Value - we stayed in a 2 double-beds room, with an area for a desk, couple of chairs, minibar and a new 32 inch LCD TV - that's pretty big for a SF standard - and we paid $80 (pre-tax) per night.

4. The building itself is getting a little run down, but the beds are new/amazing and the location felt safe enough that two single women could walk around at 2 am.

6. There weren't any unforeseen extras, and coming from a frequent visitor to new York City, the on-site parking was very reasonable ($30 a night with in/out privileges).

10. 01 2005/2006 (new Year's) to arrive with the elevator 'Out of Service' (all weekend), our room was on the 10th floor (the building is 10 stories high), they asked if we needed help but I said no- it was okay (i was trying to be nice).
