5. We were lucky in that, right outside the hotel, there was a (Chinese?) new Year festival going on, so we walked around and looked at the stalls and watched the celebration.

10. I grew up in San Francisco and have lived in the Tenderloin as a child so for me seeing homeless people is not something new, I mean seriously people, this is an urban city.
