3. excellent budjet hotel in not the best area of San Francisco, however the hotel itself is clean secure and has good facilities.

4. Their Shuttle bus service to Union Square & Fisherman's Wharf, which runs regularly throughout the day was excellent as it saved a lot of cab fare money.

10. There are excellent restaurants blocks from the hotel, one being a Thai place right around the corner, and a few blocks down Ellis is John's Grill (mentioned in the Maltese falcon) One bus will also take you down to the pier area.
