1. The quality of this hotel was great, the rooms were clean and the the room facilities were above standard with a faboulous air con machine, decent telly and cracking fridge.

6. I did not want to stay in any of the Lombard Street motels - decent as many are - because I was alone in the city and don't always feel quite comfortable walking in that neighborhood.

9. I joined the Joie de Vivre club and got upgraded to a better room and there was a free bottle of decent red wine waiting for me in my room.
