1. We were not aware until our arrival of the renovation works which also meant there was no so called 'cool' hotel bar to retire to for a quiet parental drink after the kids had gone to bed and in fact no real amenities to speak of.

2. it cooled OK, but the hose going to the window meant that you pretty much heard the nightlife outside til 2-3A despite being on the 9th floor.

6. There is a portable air conditioning unit and ceiling fan in the room, but I mostly kept the windows open and used the fan only, as the nights were quite cool - in the low 50s.
