7. The Fairmont needs to learn that it isn't enough to look nice - the memory of superb service and attention to small details (which the Langham and the Four Seasons do to perfection) lasts a lot longer than a gilded lobby and nice flowers.

9. We stayed at Ritz carlton last year around the same weekend, and their superb staff and excellent service was defenitely recommendable.

10. On arrival I found that we had been upgraded to a superb tower suite with stunning views of the Transamerica Building, Alcatraz and th Golden Gate Bridge (albeit it was normally partially obscured by fog.
