My only reason is because our room was very noisy, both from the thin wall with the adjoining room and a gap in the door that you could easily fit a couple of coins through, perhaps next time I shouldn't be such a cheapskate and upgrade - but compared to other Fairmont properties this room just didn't have the quality feel.

6. I will say that their convention catering is only mediocre though - but with such good eating in San Francisco there is no reason not to enjoy the good dining that is just around every corner.
