1. Many places to eat and drink within a block of the hotel, including Starbucks and a local Cafe with yummy fresh fruit and breakfast food.

3. Our room was on the 11th floor with a view of Nob Hill, and fresh GOOD coffee (we like ours strong and tasty) was served every morning on that floor, near our room.

4. The complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings was nice, although make sure to stop by Cafe la Taza a couple doors down to get a freshly cooked breakfast.

5. BART station, and there are lots of restaurants very close by, including one of the best seafood restaurants in the city that's literally connected to the lobby of the hotel (they have great happy hour deals on fresh oysters and drinks).
