1. I requested and received a quiet room, though it faced the side of the building next door, so had no view, it was indeed very quiet and also stayed cool - a compromise well worth it to me.

5. This goes back to the old building issue and the fact that SF is usually quite cool and AC would be only needed about 2-3 days a year anyway.

9. It's true there is no air conditioning (there is a ceiling fan), but we didn't need it anyway during our stay as the weather was cool.
