2. Location is perfect for having delicious breakfast nearby, then hopping in the car to enjoy a day hike at Muir Woods for example, then coming back for a quick shower and some afternoon shopping/sightseeing.

3. The hotel is close to many many restaurants that offer delicious and fresh food at reasonable prices, mostly on Polk Street.

4. I did stay in two other hotels this time in SF; Baldwin Hotel on Grant street (Perfect location, can`t even compare with Castle Inn) and Mayflower Hotel on Bush (another great location with an delicious Italian restaurant near by).

5. Unfortunately we weren`t told about the free breakfast, but I think this was our gain as we found a fantastic `boulangerie` nearby selling a delicious range of pastries and fantastic coffee.
