1. There are plenty of other nice hotels close by (W, Inetercontinental) that are far less expensive and just as nice.

4. As we were leaving for the evening we finally had to ask them and were told they forgot and our welcome gift is a chocolate bar but that there were no upgrades available? So I passed on the candy and when I looked online and there were plenty of suites available? This is typical of some other lower end Starwood properties but I would expect better from St Regis.
