1. Each time we spoke to the front desk about one of these problems, they were extremely pleasant and eager to help - but at over $400 a night we really shouldn't have had a problem every day - especially with something as basic as hot water.

4. What makes the biggest difference is the attitude of the staff- cheerful, helpful, will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable- from the bellman to the butlers.

7. We also had two hotel rooms which I would definitely recommend - when people need to be there all day to set up it helps to have a place to shower and change into formal clothes for the event, and it means that the people who need to stay late to clean up don't have to drive home afterwards.

10. The rooms are spacious (the wall to the bathroom that can be folded back helps to give an illusion of space) and quiet, and the public spaces of the hotel are relaxed.
