1. Pier 39 is a 5-10 min walk, numerous restaurants and shops which can prove expensive but it's enjoyable to walk through and has great views across the bay.

3. Early morning walks on the Piers overlooking the Golden Gate, to late night taxis home from restaurants and bars, everything was enjoyable.

5. The concierge helped us rent a go car which was fun but it was cold that day, if you rent one bring a small blanket to cover your legs will definitely make the ride more enjoyable, I also reccommend buying a muni pass they are about $20 for three days but you get unlimited rides on the cable cars, buses and trolley.

6. From the cheerful doorman, who quickly adopted our sons, to the efficient front desk staff, all were customer focussed and sought only to make our stay enjoyable.

8. Another enjoyable stay which was our 6th visit, we always celebrate our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday, we would like to thank all at this hotel for their kindness, on arrival we were shown to our room where we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates.
