1. We were then offered extra blankets and the nerve of the receptionist to ask: 'WOULD YOU LIKE SOME WARM MILK AS WELL?' Now I don't know if that was sarcasm of if a 30 and 40-yr old woman and man have acutally benefitted from 'warm milk' in a cold musty hotel room.

3. There was a lot of dust on everything, like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile, and there was a used bar of soap in my shower with hair on it - gross.

4. So I paid and then complained to the front desk who quite reasonably refunded me - but whem I'm traveling for work (which I do a lot) the last thing I feel like doing is waiting in line to complain and demand a refund.

5. In retrospect I could have stayed at other Marriott brands (Courtyard, Fairfield) right across the street and had more value, like free internet in the room.

6. The picture on the website makes it look like a standard sized pool.

7. I say pack your earplugs because it was just like any other hotel/motel where you can hear the people above you and you can clearly hear people in the hallway.

8. Cons- the upper floors smell like food, the front desk mentioned it is because they are surrounded by lots of restaurants and their ventilation system sucks in the fumes.
