1. I used the concierge for Pizza recomendation (excellent) activity recommendation (perfect for the time I had available) and getting me back to the airport.

Madalyn, the hotel manager was professional and gracious as it relates to conflict resolution: Upon check-out, there was an issue related to the hotel registration process through the International Reading Association Convention services, but Madalyn demonstrated excellent communication skills and diplomacy in what could have been an unpleasant situation for all involved in the matter.

7. While rather inconvenient for the Convention Center (several miles away), the hotel was in a very convenient location for an easy walk to Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and the Art Institute of Chicago, plus many excellent restaurants.

10. I found a great deal on hotwire for this room therefore it was an EXCELLENT stay for the price I paid but at the hotel's asking price of $229 I don't feel that it lives up to that price.
