1. Our company also hosted a luncheon in their banquet space; the room we used was perfect for our needs and the banquet staff was fantastic to work with; nothing we asked for was too much for them.

4. While the wedding was fantastic (all thanks to the wedding planner), the service at the hotel left a lot to be desired and even my 10year old niece was not impressed.

5. Ask for a junior suite (room number ending in 01) and you'll enjoy a fantastic view of the Wrigley and Tribune buildings, the Michigan Avenue bridge, a sliver of the river and even the Sears Tower, off in the distance.

6. We also did not eat at the restaurant although we found out too late how terrific the dessert menu looked - it had a fantastic looking chocolate cake we would have loved to have enjoyed in the room late one night with some starbucks.
