2. Great location, fantastic service, nice people, very affordable (we paid $156 for a river view two queen room), dream beds, beautifull river view from a 'window couch' (see pic)The gym is nice, the free coffee in the morning is nice, the wine tasting in the evening is nice.

5. I suspect prices go higher on prime Chicago weekends in summer (airshow, taste of Chicago, etc.

Some of the small things I mentioned which makes you feel like more than just a renter, I put a * if you have to join the Loyalty program (Kimpton In Touch): free internet access*, wine hour, Starbucks coffee in the morning, $10 worth of food/drink from the room minibar* (other things like dog treats in the lobby, I have never gotten a taste for them, but I imagine if I brought a pet it would be appreciated.
