1. In Chicago, the three Kimpton are near fantastic dining and in all the best areas in the city.

2. The room was nice with partial views to the river, the staff were so very friendly and helpful, the restaurant next door fantastic, and the free morning Starbucks coffee in the lobby and evening wine bar were a treat.

3. Great location, fantastic service, nice people, very affordable (we paid $156 for a river view two queen room), dream beds, beautifull river view from a 'window couch' (see pic)The gym is nice, the free coffee in the morning is nice, the wine tasting in the evening is nice.

4. As everyone else noted, the window seats are very nice, the wine hour is a great perk, and the location is fantastic (most touristy attractions are walkable, with the notable exception of the museums).

8. We received a fantastic room rate, a $10 credit towards our in-room mini-bar, 2 free drink vouchers at the South Water Kitchen restaurant adjacent to the hotel, and a complimentary morning newspaper (although inexplicably we received the New York Times instead of a Chicago paper).
