1. I thought Hotel Wales was a charming little hotel with very friendly front of staff and in a great location close to fabulous restaurants (particularly useful as there isn't room service to speak of - they will get food from restaurant next door).

9. While in NYC to meet some friends for dinner we popped up to 92nd and Madison to check out the Hotel Wales which had rates of $291 for a room, the Area is lovely quiet near many museums one block from bus route on 5th and surrounded by wonderful restaurants.
