5. Vast (comfortable) super kingsize bed, room in the lounge area for a sofa-bed and a rollaway, big (for NY) bathroom and even an outside terrace -- where I sipped a beer while enjoying the rooftop view and Hudson river beyond.

6. It's a 10 minute walk to Lincoln Center, 15 to Columbus Circle, a real find for anyone who likes small hotels with big rooms.

7. If you love lavish bathrooms then the Milburn may not be for you, or alternatively ask for a room which has a big bathroom.

10. We stayed at the hotel the day after the big blizzard for 2 nights (as our flights were cancelled and we had to leave the apartment we had stayed in the last 10 nights) AND still thoroughly enjoyed everything about the hotel.
