1. If you want to go to Broadway plays and be in the middle of Times Square this is a decent place.

Especially with NYC taxi availability and service so awful (not just this reviewer's opinion--ask the hotel employees who try to flag down cabs for their customers), being able to walk to every Broadway Theater in a matter of minutes and having decent restaurants just slightly farther away makes this location worth the stay.
