2. Things like toaster and electric kettle were not in kitchen - but we rang for them and friendly housekeeping brought them up immediately, also more coffee cups etc.

5. The concierge's desk was smaller than a student desk in a school room, and her recommendation for a 'nice' place for a business lunch was a diner-like crappy Italian joint a couple of blocks away.

6. I have happily stayed in places from Hampton Inns to Four Seasons, but in those places, at least you get what you pay for without any unpleasant surprises like here.

7. The location was great for us as we had all previously been to New York, if it is your first visit to New York you may like to stay a little closer to Times Square as it is a bit of a walk.

10. I don't like using my credit card in hotel computers, but there was no choice, as I don't have an Iphone or laptop.
