1. I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel that already was booked, so found a room at Affinia Shelburne for a decent price (not amazing price) through priceline.

2. Generally speaking, the accommodations for conferences tend to run towards mid-level properties but the hotels make up for it by putting the business guests in decent rooms.

9. A good size bedroom with a large King bed, one clothes cupboard with a hanging rail, one decent size chest of drawers, good table lights and an idiosyncratic radio/clock/alarm, two bedside tables with ample drawers.
