3. The bathroom walls were damp and had rust and mould stains, the carpet smelt damp and this ruined a hotel with nice and helpful staff.

6. Mind you, there are actually no fridges in the rooms so you don't exactly have anywhere to put your milk, but you're in Manhattan, who needs milk? The pool at the hotel has an interesting view of the river, and is a nice place to go if you have the time.

9. Whilst this didn't provide views of the City's best landmarks it still provided very nice views of the upper Midtown skyline and the patchwork quilt of mid rise apartments along the East River (dominated by Trump World Tower), as well as the East River, Queensboro bridge and Roosevelt Island.
