1. We did not eat in the hotel because we found the prices very excessive so every morning we went down to the deli next to the hotel and brought ourselves a selection of fresh fruits, bagels and cofee for a much more reasonable price that we enjoyed in our room.

2. We had a very Nice breakfast at the hotel on our first day ( fresh fruit, cooked or continental breakfast.

3. On the two occasions we used the pool, there were no fresh towels available for us to use although there were plenty of wet, used towels in heaps on the floor.

5. We had stunning views from the windows - I was able to go to bed looking at the coloured lights on the Empire State building each night The rooms were exceptionally clean - the beds were freshly made each day and were extremely comfortable.

6. Yes, it isn't the newest or most recently refurbished of hotels but our furniture was simple, bed was huge and so comfy, with fresh clean bedding and clean bathroom.

9. Room service was good, but pricey as always, we found a fantastic deli, round the corner, on 45th street (Armish Deli) which sold fab fresh fruit, bagels and pizza, so ate there.

10. The view howere is terrific, but the window is sealed, you cannot open it so you stay in the air-conditioned room without ay fresh air, and after a night sleeping in such a room your head is heavy and your nose is stuffed, and you have slight cold flu symptoms.
