Much has been said about the good location and it is yards from Herald Sq subway station that will take you easily Uptown for museums,Central Park etc or Downtown for lower Manhatten A few yards beyond the subway is Macys and of course a block away, with superb view from Hotel Metro rooftop, is the Empire State Building.

7. I had read a lot of Manhatten hotel reviews on Trip Advisor and in guide books and Hotel Metro appeared to have good reviews so we booked a 1 week stay for end of April/beginning of May through Virgin holidays.

8. Hotel in a perfect location, staff are great, very friendly, nothing too much trouble, breakfast very good, room perhaps in need of a spruce up but other than that would thoroughly recommend.
