1. I did not get to try the Long Room (pub next door) where our cocktail vouchers were for, but it looked quaint and had a nice happy hr/evening drink vibe.

2. Surprise, surprise when we got dropped off and I handed $90 over, the driver was none too happy and demanded the extra 20% - I refused and told him to take it up with Hotel.

3. O'Donoghues bar for cheap happy hour drinks, italian restaurant across the road for a delicious meal, Virgil's restaurant for a huge bbq feast, deli for a great breakfast and good morning america on the corner.

5. At Mela its advertised as free, and as such I would have been very happy, as I'm here on business it can make a big difference to have ready and un-metered access to WiFi however I found it so week as to be useless.

8. There are several nice character restaurants close at hand like the french type bisto right acrooss the street (2 for one martinis happy hour).
