1. We were a family group of 5 people, with 2 teenagers, 2 parents and grandmother, and we were looking for somewhere which was centrally located, had character and was not too enormous and impersonal, and with comfortable accommodation where we could take a break from the sightseeing during the day if we needed to.

2. To make it simple, I'm listing my pros and cons, with final conclusion that I'd probably stay here again if Sherry was booked, and it is certainly better than the Marriotts and Hyatts, which I think offer very frugal accommodations and service for not much less in NYC.
