1. One of our best memories was leaving the vent windows partially open one night for the cool breeze when a gentle thunderstorm rolled through and we could hear the rain and smell those wonderful island aromas.

5. But i have noticed there was always some people no matter how cool the weather was( it got down to 60s at night even high 50s that last 2 days we stayed there) they still used theirs.

6. In the winter the ceiling fan was more than enough cooling for me/ It does expose you to the roosters though so if you are looking to avoid the sound of Kauai's signature bird you should get AC and close the windows.
