1. The staff was fairly accommodating to our request, but offered no compensation at all and actually seemed pretty annoyed by the request -- as if it's our fault.

4. The staff, as with most Hawaiians we've met, were lovely and extremely accommodating and the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring and not far from Lihue.

5. I did not rate this hotel a 5 star for two reasons - the first being that we were supposed to have had a king bed (we had 2 queens), the hotel was full so they were unable to accommodate us and as it turned out - I ended up with pneumonia and really did need my own bed.
