I recently had an especially positive experience with STEFANO SMITH at the welcome Desk - as a platinum SPG member, I've come to generally expect upgrades to standard suites, and when one was not available at check-in, he put me in a normal king but then followed up with me three times in four hours to get me to my suite.

I can understand being charged a cleaning fee if there was a mess made or damage done but it's outrageous to charge someone $125 to have their pets stay with them if 'Pets Are welcome' and the pet has not caused any damage to the room (which our dog did not; when we were out of the room, she was in her crate).

10. I was pleasantly surprised when immediately after pulling up to the front door we were welcomed by an amazing and helpful team including Wheels (their valet) and welcome Ambassadors (their bellman, they have different names for everything, which we found pretty cool.
