5. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants or use the bars at the hotel or right nearby (I know Atlanta pretty well at this point and where to go), so I can't comment on that, but the front desk was courteous and professional, if a little standoffish, but I find this is not uncommon for W Hotels.

The staff needs some immediate and professional training in customer service from their ability to speak clearly , to the front desk who will chose to completely ignore you, to room service who tells you 'that's just the way it is and it'll be 20 minutes before I can get back here' is not acceptable for a hotel charging these kind of rates.

Everyone from the valet staff who greeted me and offered a bottle of ice cold water upon arrival, to the front desk who accomodated my request for quiet room on upper floor to the driver (Michael - a foodie who can give you tips on local restaurants) who took us to the CDC both days, was friendly and professional.
