1. Most of the support staff (valet, room service, bell, bartender) is great, with the exception of the couple of the front desk ladies during the check out process.

3. It was impossible to read, except in broad daylight, with a tiny lamp on each side of the bed, a floor lamp with, possibly, a 60 watt bulb, a dressing table in the entryway with 1 pin up lamp and a magnifying mirror, and some sort of lighting in a wall piece.

9. The entire W brand is very early 2000s, and this hotel is no exception: they are working off the cultural moment when there weren't any 'hip' hotels and W was the only hotel doing the whole minimalist/modern/Asian-inspired thing.
