1. Small clean pool (I've worked in the hot tub/sauna industry for a few years so pool standards are pretty high) just enough room to cool off and feel comfortable if a couple others happen to join you.

2. The staff at the front desk we very friendly and nothing was too much trouble - especially when our travel agent had short booked us with 10 instead of 11 nights, they were cool about listening to our adventures for the day as well so a big Thank you Kalei, JT, Vinh & the others.

3. It's within walking distance of cool waikiki shops (pretty much the only reason we'd hang out in waikiki), close to the beach and other nicer beachfront hotels that have lovely bars you can easily walk down to and get a cocktail at sunset.

5. Rooms also have a refrigerator which is great for keeping bottled water cool for each day's outings, microwave, coffee maker and an in-room safe.

6. We never did feel comfortable unless stting right beside couch and I found myself getting up in the night and sleeping on the couch for awhile to cool down.
