1. Hotel staff had great choices off resort for dinner, lunch, breakfast and I was happy that they didn't just recommend the resort's choices.

3. There were reports of avian flu in Asia during the time we were there and I was not happy to have roosters and chickens everywhere.

Now, the less happy parts:- the beach is not a one where you can truly swim as there are rocks all the way up to the beach- there are often outdoor events that are noisy enough to chase you away from the pool grounds- there is only one pool, which for the size of this hotel and the fact that several families come with a large number of kids in tow, is not enough.

6. our first one was right on top of the pool for no privacy and then we looked at another and while ocean front it also looked out at a huge wall so finally we arrived out a middle room on the 6th floor and we were both happy with the room and the staff who worked to find us what we liked.
