2. We ate in the lounge one night (sushi) and that was very good and at Kauai Grill one night and ordered the tasting menu which was excellent.

5. I must make special mention of the bellman Erwin Haumea for taking such good care of our young tired excited child (after Kalalau trail + Kee Beach), housekeeping and the pool staff, trotting back and forth with fresh warm towels on a drizzly day.

7. Some landscape person thought it would be a good idea to dump dark soil over the sand and plant grass on it that has to be crossed to get to the beach.

8. My husband had a sports massage which he thought was good but still preferred the spa at the Mandarin Oriental in Vegas to the spa at the St.

9. We also enjoyed the Kauia Grill for my husband's birthday-it's a must to reserve a table around 6pm to get a good view of the sunset.
