1. We chose the Ala Moana because it had decent reviews on TripAdvisor and reasonable rates.

2. The reason I got mad/upset is that he keeps saying this Hotel is different from others is that it's owned by private owner and he has to sell the room or else the hotel will pay to the owner.

6. The Ala Moana is a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location for people interested in spending time in Waikiki and engage in retail therapy at the near-by mall (although generally the prices at the mall are quite high).

8. I explained as calmly as I could that I had booked & paid for an 'oceanview', and the main reason was because these rooms were on higher floors away from noise.

9. Seeing as the Mall was the reason for choosing the hotel, we stayed in the Kona Tower, whose rooms are cheaper than the Waikiki Tower.
