1. We chose the hotel for the location, near shopping and near the ala moana beach park which is lovely.

2. This hotel is about a 5 minute walk to Ala Moana Beach Park, still a lovely beach but not as busy as Waikiki (although the sand is a bit rockier).

4. Sorry I cannot remember the name of the shop, but the shop owner had some really lovely things like exquisite scarves, lovely teacups and teapots, jewelry; also she makes the most gorgeous faux florals for your hair and also faux floral leis - one-of-a-kind absolutely stunning and beautiful.
