1. The hotel is housed in the old Post Office so there was a pleasant mix of traditional and avant garde.

The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating, and when I hadn't been able to sleep because of a basketball game at the Verizon center the night before (warning: try NOT to stay on the outside of the hotel when there are basketball games) the guy behind the desk went out of his way to find me an iHome so that I could drown out any future sounds (THANK YOU.
