2. Also, this is a great hotel if you came by train but be aware that the hotel parking is $30 a night -- pretty steep even for DC.

9. We were right across from the Crime and Punishment Museum (had to be one of my favorite museums of all time), the International Spy Museum, the Smithsonian American Art and Portrait Museum, several GREAT restaurants and a STARBUCKS.
