1. TERRIFIED the receptionist got the manager: apparently we were supposed to let them know upon check-in what type of mattress we liked so they can accommodate (standard service of the Kimpton Group and their pride.

The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating, and when I hadn't been able to sleep because of a basketball game at the Verizon center the night before (warning: try NOT to stay on the outside of the hotel when there are basketball games) the guy behind the desk went out of his way to find me an iHome so that I could drown out any future sounds (THANK YOU.

3. (Our 2-year-old Lab mix was welcomed with open arms by each and every member of the hotel staff, and the hotel flawlessly managed to accommodate pets without sacrificing style or cleanliness.
