1. When I requested my breakfast to be served at a certain time (9:00am) for some reason the staff thought I should start my day earlier (8:30 am on Sunday ) and then (8:00am on Monday).

If you decide to stay at this hotel (and there are plenty of other reasons to stay at this hotel as many of the reviews point out) and if you have the same experience, I would not hesitate to have housekeeping sweep your floors or request another room until you find one with clean floors (if that is even possible in this hotel).

7. Twenty five dollars a day is reasonable for parking in Washington and at the rate we got I can't complain about paying extra for internet service.

10. Interestingly, when researching hotels for a family visit to DC maybe 6 years ago, I had at that time settled on this same hotel, again for location and price reasons.
