1. Also, towels that we left on the floor were sometimes hung back up as new ones as were still damp & at least 2 that were replaced had stains on them.

4. But, how could a Hilton property in 2012 only provide guests with CNN? I'm sorry, but I won't stay in US hotels that won't provide access to Fox news.

6. Now reading the negative reviews, I would never have made reservations for him at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel on new Hampshire Avenue--not only was he not treated like a College President, he was treated very shabbily and I am embarrassed.

7. newer carpet, granite in the kitchen area, bathroom had new tile and the room appeared to have been recently repainted.

8. We arrived very late due to construction on new York Avenue (as of 8/25/10, so check), but were greeted with a nice women at the front desk.

9. On Wednesday afternoons/evenings there's a farmer's market a block up new Hampshire (on I ('Eye') Street by the entrance to GWU) and next to the hospital.

10. This hotel space is older, and in some spots do show its age, although the rooms have been refurnished, and the kitchens have new appliances and the bathrooms have granite countertops.
