1. The lobby - and the entire hotel and conference area - is tasteful, opulent, yet not overpowering.

3. The biggest complaint is the tasting menu has a lot of food - and the larger courses are served last, which made it hard to get through everything.

4. We ordered the tasting menu, so perhaps that had something to do with it, but all throughout the wait staff was chatty and friendly but unobtrusive, and the sommeliers were helpful without being the least bit snooty with us wine novices.

5. I am a meat-eater, but who honestly wants 10-courses of a tour-de-liver of every animal on the farm? The veggie tasting menu is slightly better, if too heavily reliant on breading-and-frying for taste.

10. I found the menus a bit funky for my taste and would like more stuff on it that I am used to if i were going to go to these hotels more often, but as a weekend adventure it was fine.
