The hotel was packed with families with kids and its size combined with the 100% occupancy created all sorts of nuisances, partially due to poor organization by the hotel staff and partially due to the other guests and particularly their rowdy kids (full disclosure - my son is not yet old enough to annoy other guests).

3. They have an arrangement for self-parking at a discounted rate ($23?) at Ritz Carlton a block away (a bit annoying in hot DC, and even Ritz Carlton employees didnt know which elevators went to garage, but some DC hotels have no parking at all).

5. If you're traveling with kids, you'll never feel as if you're annoying the non-kidded travelers around you because there are lots more just like you staying here.
