There were trails on the grounds (they gave us a map) but I would recommend
avoid
ing them since the horses for the horseback rides use them and there were plenty of droppings all along the trail making it difficult to walk.

Hotel is child-friendly, so check the season if you want to
avoid
kids at any one of the three pools--two of which are quieter; the main pool near the restaurants often has loud music playing in the afternoons so I
avoid
that one.

Unless you want to be able to walk 5 steps outside your sliding door to a pool, I would recommend
avoid
ing any of the buildings around the main pool area.
